PCX Construction is a site work, utilities, and concrete contractor supporting general contractors, utilities, and municipalities on complex projects across the St. Louis region and the broader Midwest.
Our Story
PCX Construction traces its roots to 2001, when it began as a small local contractor in northeastern Jefferson and St. Francois counties, Missouri, taking on underground utility, water, and site work for clients across the region. From those early days, the company grew steadily through repeat relationships built on quality workmanship, reliability, and timeliness.
That foundation in underground and utility construction remains at the core of PCX today. The company has since expanded into public, commercial, heavy highway, residential, and industrial work, but its focus stays anchored in water, sewer, and underground infrastructure, the demanding, below-grade work that requires precision, experience, and the right equipment. Through that growth, PCX has held onto a small-business approach grounded in respect, personal attention, and long-term trust with clients and partners.
PCX teams bring decades of combined field experience in utility and underground construction, along with heavy highway and commercial projects throughout the Midwest. The company self-performs work with experienced laborers and equipment operators and owns and maintains its own fleet, from excavation and pipe crews to specialized underground equipment. This allows PCX to control safety, quality, schedule, and cost while supporting project needs from early planning and value engineering through execution and close-out.
