A wider roadway with new six-foot shoulders

A new roundabout at Hopewell Road and Diehr Road, with lighting

A sidewalk on one side and a ten-foot multi-use path on the other

Left turn lanes for safer driveway access

Upgraded storm drainage and a new culvert at the creek crossing

The southern curve rebuilt to improve sight distance

PROJECT AREA: Hopewell Road from Route N south to just past Diehr Road, in unincorporated St. Charles County.
CURRENT UPDATE: September 2026

Temporary traffic signals are removed and both lanes are open.

Trucks are entering and exiting the roadway, so please use caution.
